Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your SocialSwayam account and associated personal data held by CollegeDwar. It is intended for users and for platform app-review requirements (including Meta and Google).

1. Delete your account in the app

  1. Sign in to SocialSwayam.
  2. Open your Profile settings.
  3. Use the account deletion option and confirm when prompted.

Deleting your account removes or anonymizes personal account data associated with your user profile, subject to the retention notes below.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot access your account, or you connected SocialSwayam through a third-party login and want your data removed, email us at billing@collegedwar.com with the subject line “SocialSwayam data deletion request”.

Please include:

  • The email address used for your SocialSwayam account
  • Any connected social account usernames or page names you want us to verify
  • A brief confirmation that you want your account and personal data deleted

We will verify ownership of the account and process valid requests within 30 days (sooner when reasonably possible).

3. What we delete

When a deletion request is completed, we remove or irreversibly anonymize:

  • Your user profile and authentication data
  • Personal identifiers tied to your membership in workspaces (where you are the sole owner, workspace data may also be removed)
  • OAuth tokens and connected social account credentials stored for your account
  • Stored review-reply settings and user-generated content owned solely by your account, where applicable

4. What we may retain

We may retain limited information when required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes (for example, invoice records), or when data is embedded in backups that are scheduled for deletion on a rolling cycle. Aggregated analytics that no longer identify you may also be retained.

5. Disconnecting social platforms

You can disconnect Google, Facebook, Instagram, or X accounts from SocialSwayam at any time in Social Accounts settings. You may also revoke SocialSwayam’s access from the platform’s own security or app settings. Disconnecting a platform stops future sync/publishing for that connection; it does not by itself delete your entire SocialSwayam account.
